Resisting McBreakfast

I have 13 nieces and nefews, that’s right… 13!!! Not all of them live near me, but the ones that do I’m pretty close to. Two of them came over today, early. They begged for McDonalds breakfast. I LOVE McDonalds breakfast. LOVE it. Whenever I used to wake up early as a teen (it was rare) the only good thing I thought about it was “Yay, I’m in time for McDonalds breakfast!” I didn’t order a thing… in fact my niece put a hashbrown up to me and said, “do you want this, I don’t” and I shook my head and walked away… fast. They are finished eating, I’ve escaped.

I was ok though, you know why? because I weighed myself first thing this morning and I lost 1 more lb!!! 5lbs in 5 days… not too shabby. No Mcbreakfast for me, I’d rather keep waking up with a pleasant suprise like today.

    Nice one! It’s sooo difficult to resist when you know the food is just going to go to waste, so well done on resisting - particularly given that McBreakfast was a favourite.

    Awsome! Particulary since you can make yourself a far healthier and TASTIER alternative at home! Just try broiling a couple of mushrooms of your choice (I love my shiitakes), half a tomato, and then frying it up sans soil or with a bit of spray with a couple of eggs/ skim milk omlette and broccoli or spinach or whatever, some herbs on top, fresh ground pepper and have it with a toast of low cal/high fiber whole-wheat bread. And have half a grapefruit or 1/2 cup of other fruit for dessert. One of my fav breakfasts when I have time to cook a breaky :)

    Watch “Super Size Me” maybe it’ll help open your eyes to how evil mc d’s really is.. lol

    One of the reasons I gained so much weight last year is because we ate at mc d’s almost every night because it was right beside our apartment. It makes you gain weight, feel depressed, have no energy, and the worst thing is the stuff they put in that food is like a drug it makes you want MORE.

    so please.. don’t go to the dark place. lol good luck!
